Designed for both climbing and hiking, this Made in Italy shoe has an essential upper with no stitching in Perspair® woven technology which ensures the ultimate protection and, together with the Gore-Tex lining, the optimal breathability. The brand new Dolomite sole by Vibram®, in MegaGrip compound is specifically conceived as a bridge between approach and hiking, providing the optimal balance between traction and grip, either on wet and dry surfaces. Moreover the stretch tongue and the full wrapping lacing system guarantees a close-fitting up to the toe, enabling a higher control and precision on each step. Together with the double lasting rubber toe, all these first-choice features give raise to a shoe crafted to move in the mountains quickly and safely.

Dolomite Velocissima was the surprise of the test. Definitely different from the others, very light, pleasantly soft, it is a proposal for climbing and for advanced users, to seek sensitivity in grip, with a beautiful, totally flat sole. Despite the lack of a real heel, it is still comfortable during walking, if you do not exaggerate the mileage, in relation to the target of advanced users for which it is designed. At a time when globalization is being challenged by pandemics and war, it is also up to date, given that it is a made in Italy product. The Perspair fabric, which may arouse some perplexity in the Veloce sister, here seems perfectly at ease.
