Roberto Lorenzani

Roberto Lorenzani works on Adventure, Explorations and Outdoor field since 1980. He organized and took part to several “extreme expeditions” all around the world, and he contributed to organize Great International Events as Camel Trophy, Raid Gauloises e Land Rover G4 Challenge.

Ex rugby player (14 Championships), 2 honours courses (Physical Education DEP, Torino University ; Parma University) and a High Training of sport and sporting show organization course.

He’s Master Instructor of the Italian Federation Survival-Outdoor (F.I.S.S.S.), National Instructor Ecocampus (CSEN).He’s archery instructor, Body building instructor and athletic trainer. He’s got a nautical licence and a Rescue Diver Padi patent

Roberto Lorenzani established in Italy several Adventure & Outdoor Centers where he organize adventure and outdoor training courses, survival, cartography, orienteering, GPS courses

Professional  Experiences

Expeditions and explorations

2009: On the 14th-15th of January he tried twice to reach Aconcagua peack, but due to the weather conditions he had to stop at 6500m.

2008: On the 3rd of February he reaches the KILIMANJARO peack, in Africa. This is the second stage of  “Seven Summits” project.

On the 7th of August he reaches the mount ELBRUS peack, (Caucaso), the highest mount of Europe.  This is the third stage of  “Seven Summits” project.

2007: On the 27th of November he reaches the mount KOSCIUSZKO peack,, Australia. This is the first stage of  “Seven Summits” project, concerning the reaching of the highest mountain peack of each continent.

2001: He organize and take part to an expedition to Peru. During those trip the group discovered the "Inca Rey Lagoon"

2000: He walked 30 hours covering 140 Km (Modena - Cesena) for the "Trenta ore per la vita" tv show.

1996: He took a reportage of the Kruger National Park, Cape of Good Hope, South Africa.

1995: He took part to the Raid Gauloises in Patagonia, the most difficult race of the word without means of transport.

1993: He lives an experience of survivor in a desert atoll of the South Pacific Ocean

1992: He travels for three months among the islands of the South Pacific Ocean

1991: He organized and took part to the first italian expedition to the Hudson Bay (from Quebec to Manitoba , 1000 Km), looking for the Cree Indians, with dog sleds.

1990: He walked through the Pukaskawa Parck  (Ontario - Canada)

1989: He took part to the first worldwide expedition to the Cold Polo  (Ojmiakon - Siberia, –72°C), with local clothing and food, going through 1300 Km with 10 sledges

1988: He walked through the Biebza wetlands (Polonia)

1987: He walked through the paths from Douz to Ksar Ghilane, Sahara (Tunisia) joinig a Berber caravan

1985: He did a trip alone in Iraq going from the Tigri to the Eufrate (200 km)

 

Adventure, Outdoor, Survival  Centers

2003: He established the "Adventure Academy" Adventure & Outdoor centrer in the provincial park resort of Morfasso (PC)

1999: He  established  the Adventure Center of Schilpario (BG)

1996: He leads the Adventure Center on the Parma Apennine

1992: He established the Natural Adventure Center in Maremma, Cinigiano (GR)

1989: He established the “Italian School of Adventure” in Arsiè  (BL)

1987: He organized the first Outdoor course dedicated to managers

1986: He became instructor at the Survival School of Jacek Palkiewicz, in Castello Tesino (TN). He will lead those school for several years
